I earned a BSc in Journalism from the University of Miami and was consistently on the Dean's List and Honor Role. In my daily work as an editor and marketing content writer, I continually edit other writers for grammar, punctuation, and readability to convey clear and accurate information. I earned a BSc in Journalism from the University of Miami and was consistently on the Dean's List and Honor Role. In my daily work as an editor and marketing content writer, I continually edit other writers for grammar, punctuation, and readability to convey clear and accurate information. In addition to homeschooling my three (now grown) children several years, I have been a pre-k teacher for a private school, a public school, and a substitute elementary school teacher.
My teaching style involves lots of one-on-one attention to students at all levels who are learning the crucial foundations of reading and writing. For example, some of my students have been fearful, intimidated, or bored. Because I pay attention to student behaviors, I adjust my individual approach to teach each child to get past these hindrances. Then, the child's learning becomes fun, and their confidence and courage grow.
I excel at teaching children to read and write, using correct grammar, sentence style, and punctuation. When children can confidently read and write, they develop a love for it. It is rewarding to the parents and the tutor to see a child's face light up with the feeling of achievement.
I have always believed that if you can read, you can learn anything.
