I’m Kaveh! As a physics tutor, I firmly believe that understanding the principles governing our physical world shouldn't feel like decoding an impossible puzzle. Whether you're encountering Newton's laws, trying to visualize electric fields, or preparing for AP Physics exams, I'm dedicated to helping you build physical intuition and genuine understanding rather than merely memorizing formulas.

I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Astronomy and a Master’s and Doctoral degree in Planetary Science. My doctoral thesis was on the origin of the Earth’s Moon, and I use physics extensively in my research. I know from my personal experience that a good teacher can be life-changing. With a strong physics background, patience, and active listening skills, I help students excel in learning physics, boosting grades and improving exam scores along the way.

In my approach, nothing takes the place of practice, practice, practice! During my sessions, we will cover problems that either the student brings in from course materials or that I bring from my own materials. I show up on-time, prepared, and ready to efficiently tackle as many problems together with my students, knowing that each variation on a problem helps to highlight different aspects of the material and helps to build physical intuition. The latter can be very valuable in solving problems, especially in time-limited settings.
