Hello! I’m Faith, a dedicated special education teacher with over six years of experience supporting students from preschool through early high school. My passion is helping children with learning differences, particularly dyslexia and ADHD, unlock their reading potential in a way that’s engaging, personalized, and effective.

My Background

I’ve had the privilege of serving as an AmeriCorps English teacher, helping launch a school for students with learning differences and teaching at a highly regarded, specialized school in Washington, D.C., focused on dyslexia and ADHD. I’m trained in both comprehensive and intermediate Orton-Gillingham (OG) intervention, a proven method for building reading skills.

After a set number of sessions, I provide updated reports with fresh assessment data to showcase your child’s growth. If you have existing educational assessments, I’ll review them carefully to ensure a holistic approach.

Beyond Tutoring

As a mom myself, I understand the importance of feeling confident in your child’s educational journey. Beyond tutoring, I support families with dyslexia disability determinations, testing, evaluations, and IEP services.
