I am well-equipped to tutor college students in Mathematics and Programming, drawing from both my strong academic background and teaching experience. I hold a Master of Science in Analytics from Georgia Tech and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh, as well as an Associate of Science in Mathematics from the Community College of Philadelphia. My studies have provided me with a solid foundation in subjects like Algebra, Calculus, and programming languages such as Python, Java, R, and SQL.
During my time at the University of Pittsburgh and the Community College of Philadelphia, I worked as a Math Undergraduate Teacher Assistant. In these roles, I led recitation sessions, provided one-on-one tutoring, and supported students with coursework. My experience has taught me how to break down complex concepts into understandable parts, making learning accessible and engaging for students at different levels. I focus on creating a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring challenging topics and asking questions.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my passion for teaching and my ability to connect with students on a personal level. Being bilingual in English and French and having lived in different countries, I bring a diverse cultural perspective to my tutoring. This cultural awareness helps me relate to students from various backgrounds and adapt my teaching methods to suit their individual needs. I am committed to helping students build confidence in their abilities and achieve academic success, whether they are learning Mathematics or Programming.
