Hi! I'm a final-year medical student at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, which I entered through Penn State's accelerated BS/MD program after graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. I also hold a Master of Science in Infectious Diseases (focused on epidemiology and biostatistics) from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. I scored a 36 on the ACT, a perfect 1520 on the PSAT, and I have published numerous research publications in neurosurgery and infectious disease.

I have been tutoring for 10 years, working with students from elementary school through medical school. At Penn State, I led weekly electromagnetism review sessions for 300+ students and was a teaching assistant for quantum physics and thermal and fluid dynamics. I now tutor one-on-one in math, physics, chemistry, biology and English, prepare students for the ACT, SAT and AP exams, and teach USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 content to medical students. I have also interviewed medical school applicants and coordinated interview days for the Penn State and Jefferson BS/MD program, so I generally know what admissions committees look for. I bring that insight to college counseling for BS/MD programs and Ivy League schools, from building a balanced school list to writing essays that sound like the student.

My approach starts with finding exactly where a student's understanding breaks down, because even long division can feel as hard as quantum physics when the foundation is missing. I break complex ideas into manageable steps, connect them to what the student already knows, and build confidence through targeted practice and timed tests.Above all, I teach students how to study on their own so their progress lasts.
