I am currently a rising junior majoring in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University, where I have acquired a diverse set of skills and knowledge. My educational background includes multiple certificates such as a Nanodegree in AI with Python from Udacity, certification as a Java SE 11 Programmer from Oracle, Professional Certification in TinyML from HarvardX, Directed Studies in Undergraduate Education from UCI, and an AP Computer Science A qualification from Johns Hopkins University.
In addition to my academic achievements, I have extensive tutoring experience. During my freshman year of high school, I founded a non-profit organization called Connecting Communities to Technology (CC2T) with the goal of making technological education accessible globally. With the help of over 60 dedicated volunteers, CC2T has expanded to 17 countries, offering free classes and workshops on more than 20 STEM topics. We also organize events like webinars, hackathons, and ideathons to provide students with opportunities to showcase their learning and inspire continued engagement in STEM fields. Our organization has reached over 2,500 students, many of whom have shared testimonials about how our programs encouraged their participation in competitions and personal projects. At Carnegie Mellon, I serve as a Teaching Assistant for the Principles of Imperative Computation course.
These roles have allowed me to develop and deliver a variety of instructional content, including presentations, homework assignments, personal projects, and challenges. I have worked with students of different ages and educational levels, from elementary school children to university students. My experience spans small classroom settings, one-on-one tutoring, and large group instruction, both as a Teaching Assistant and through my leadership in CC2T.
