I specialize in writing, including technical writing, essays, creative writing, and research papers. I also excel in English subjects such as grammar, proofreading, editing, reading comprehension, and literature analysis. Additionally, I offer test preparation for the ACT, specifically in English and Reading. While I don't hold a formal degree in History, I have a deep passion for the subject and its profound impact on literature and our world.
My background includes over 10 years of professional writing experience, primarily in newspapers and creative literature. I have over 5 years of experience teaching reading, writing, and grammar skills in a high school setting. Furthermore, I have over 10 years of experience tutoring students at all levels, including professionals, college students, and high schoolers.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in English and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University and a Master's degree in Teaching Secondary English Education from Western Governors University.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes personalized learning, adapting my approach to each student's unique learning style. I believe in creating engaging learning experiences through creative activities, supportive materials, and effective memory techniques, and practice.
