Her lessons are well planned out and she always has exercises that go well with the topic you are learning. She helps even you when you're struggling and is always available to email, she responds very promptly. I highly recommend her to anyone.

Our first meeting was hampered by lack of audio-visual/screen sharing capabilities on my side. Shirley understands my project goals and we made good progress with applying InDesign to meet them. InDesign Guru!
I've used InDesign in the past, I lost motivation for my current book for two years and had forgotten a lot. Shirley knows InDesign from the inside out and is able to give me focused information, based on my current confusions, about using it effectively. I noticed that many Wyzant tutors who specialize in InDesign are designers, but I needed someone who understood the basics of book layout and could patiently explain them. Shirley is a natural teacher and very patient. I am so fortunate to have found her!
