I have a Bachelor’s of Science from Southern Utah University, dual majoring in Chemistry and Biology. I currently work as an Analytical Chemist. I used to work as a music teacher where I developed useful strategies for teaching and coaching. While in college I found that I learned best by teaching my peers concepts. Through that experience I got lots of practice helping students understand concepts across the physical sciences and mathematics. Science and Math can be intimidating and confusing. I’m here to help! Today’s education system struggles to supply the 1-on-1 time many students need to solidify understanding. I’m here to meet you where you’re at in your comprehension. Going at your pace to help you understand a subject well is very important to me. Whether you learn best by listening, practicing, watching, or even seeing real-life examples/applications, we can tailor a one-off lesson or a series of tutoring sessions to your (or your student’s) needs.

Math and Science are my specialties, and I’m happy to help make them yours too. Whether you need help with a specific problem set or need guidance on standardized test strategies, we can work at your pace to improve your scores and your comprehension.

I’ve got a flexible schedule, so if you need help I’m here. I respond quick and am happy to provide help to anyone who cares enough to come looking for it. Feel free to reach out to me about any questions you may have or to schedule a lesson!

Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I took Honors Algebra I in middle school, and it helped set a framework for more advanced math down the road. My 36 on the ACT math section is evidence of my strong understanding. I tutored students and peers for years and know how to work through misunderstandings and confusing topics. My goal is not to help you get the answer, but to help you understand the content well enough to get the answer yourself.
Algebra 2

Algebra 2

I took Honors Algebra II in high school, and it helped set a framework for more advanced math down the road. My 36 on the ACT math section is evidence of my strong understanding. I tutored students and peers for years and know how to work through misunderstandings and confusing topics. My goal is not to help you get the answer, but to help you understand the content well enough to get the answer yourself.
Biochemistry

Biochemistry

I have a Bachelor's of Science from Southern Utah University majoring in Chemistry and Biology. I completed upper division Biochem courses in the process of obtaining that degree. Biochem can be a tricky balance between cell biology and chemistry. Let me help you understand how biological processes are carried out on the atomic level.
Biology

Biology

My Bachelor's of Science from Southern Utah University is a dual major of Chemistry and Biology. I've taken everything from high school biology to AP Biology to upper division courses in college. I tutored other students in my biology courses all the way through college, helping them to understand concepts from Natural Selection to DNA Transcription/Translation. I love teaching science, and I want to help you learn to love and understand Biology.
Chemistry
