I hold a PhD in Psychology with formal training in quantitative research methods and statistics. I am currently a Professor of Psychology, where I teach undergraduate and graduate courses and mentor graduate students through thesis and dissertation projects.
I have nearly 20 years of experience working one-on-one with students in instructional and mentoring contexts, including office hours, independent study supervision, dissertation advising, and methods and statistics support for graduate students. Much of this work involves helping students understand and interpret statistical analyses, justify analytic strategies, and communicate results clearly in writing and oral defenses.
My tutoring and coaching is primarily focused on graduate-level and professional learners (MA and PhD students), rather than K–12 or undergraduate coursework. Sessions are typically conducted one-on-one and emphasize conceptual understanding, software application, interpretation of results, and writing up results (using APA style), rather than completion of assignments or problem sets.
I work exclusively online and my approach is supportive, structured, and focused on helping students build understanding and confidence in their own work.
