Hi, I’m Brett. I’m a physiology teaching assistant and tutor with a strong academic background in both physiology and organic chemistry. I graduated magna cum laude with a 3.98 GPA and earned top marks in my coursework, including organic chemistry I and II and human physiology.
My approach to academics has always focused on understanding rather than memorization. I believe that once you truly understand the why behind a concept, everything else becomes much easier. Memorization has its place, but in subjects like physiology and organic chemistry, true understanding is what makes the biggest difference. That is the same philosophy I bring into my tutoring.
I have about a year of experience working as a TA and tutor, helping many students who felt stuck or overwhelmed. My goal is always to make complex topics feel simple and logical. Whether we are working through physiological systems like cardiovascular or renal function, or breaking down problem-solving strategies, I focus on helping you think through the material so you can handle it confidently on your own.
My sessions are structured, efficient, and tailored to your needs. Whether you are preparing for an exam, catching up in a difficult class, or trying to build a strong foundation moving forward, we will focus on what matters most for you.
I am currently on the pre-med track and especially interested in physiology and endocrinology. I also enjoy connecting concepts to real-world applications when it helps reinforce understanding.
If you are willing to put in the effort, I will make sure the material finally makes sense.
