I am currently a first-year dental student at Roseman University, where I continue to build on a strong academic foundation in the health sciences. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Southern Virginia University, where I developed a deep understanding of subjects including general chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, anatomy and physiology, genetics, cell biology, and microbiology. My academic background, combined with my current training in dental school, allows me to teach complex scientific concepts in a clear and practical way.

I scored in the 98th percentile on the Dental Admission Test (DAT), with an Academic Average of 24 and a Perceptual Ability Test (PAT) score of 26. This experience not only reflects my mastery of these subjects, but also my ability to effectively study, retain, and apply challenging material under pressure. I specialize in helping students understand the “why” behind concepts rather than just memorizing information, which leads to stronger long-term understanding and improved performance on exams.

While I do not have formal classroom teaching experience, I have extensive experience helping peers and classmates understand difficult topics throughout my undergraduate and graduate-level coursework. I approach tutoring by breaking down complicated ideas into simple, step-by-step explanations, adapting my teaching style to fit each student’s needs. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence.
