My name is Anna, and I studied mathematics education at Brigham Young University. Math has always been my favorite subject and I had an amazing high school math teacher for Precalculus, Calculus AB, and Calculus BC (yes, all three years!) who taught me that math can be fun for and understood by anyone with the right attitude. It will always take some time and effort, but to anybody who is willing to put in that time, they can learn what they need to learn. I'm really grateful for her example...

She is very nice and amazing to work with, so you feel very comfortable taking lessons with her. Anna also helped me get ready for the AP AB Calculus exam, and her lesson prep is amazing; she has practice questions uploaded to the board by the time the lesson starts, has more on hand for extra practice, and can send practice sheets if extra review is wanted after the lesson. She works with your schedule and tries to prioritize your available times when possible and can also answer any questions you have after a lesson through her messages, even if it's a problem or an equation that you need help on. Anna is truly one of the best tutors I have had while using this website, and I will continue having her lessons happily.

Helpful and patient tutor
With Anna, we went over problems similar to the ones that are going to be on the exam. She helped understand the concepts and know what formula, or way to use when. She gave me tips on what the examiners will look for and how to save time on the exam. She also showed me multiple ways of solving a problem, in case one doesn't work. She found problems that she thought were going to help me, and she also helped me solve problems that I had already from my class, and answered my questions. With her help, I didn't just understand how to solve specific problems, but also how to solve types of problems by telling me what to do when the question asks for specific things, and how I should go on solving specific types of problems.
