I have worked in education for 10 years in the private and public sectors. I have a Major in Music Education, honors, with separate minors in Religion and Psychology.

I tutored undergraduate music theory as an undergraduate, and spent the past year teaching math and music at a private high school. I perform and rehearse several days a week with local jazz and classical ensembles.

I first began study of photography as a hobby while an undergraduate music student at Appalachian State University. For about ten years I shot exclusively manual on a 35mm Pentax body. In 2007 I moved to DSLRs and am familiar with all aspects of modern Nikon, Cannon and Pentax bodies. Sample photographs can be provided on request.
