Bio

I am a certified social studies teacher and love helping students succeed with their school work! I graduated from Brigham Young University majoring in teaching social sciences. I am certified in both Utah and Texas and have taught full time for 3 years. I have taught AP Human Geography, 5th grade social studies, 9th grade World Geography, and 10th grade US History. I can help you understand your courses and bring up your grade, or study to get a 5 on an AP exam and the end of the year!...

I am a certified social studies teacher and love helping students succeed with their school work! I graduated from Brigham Young University majoring in teaching social sciences. I am certified in both Utah and Texas and have taught full time for 3 years. I have taught AP Human Geography, 5th grade social studies, 9th grade World Geography, and 10th grade US History. I have certifications for teaching gifted and talented students as well as have experience working with English language learners and students with learning disabilities.

During the pandemic I tutored students from kindergarten through high school in English, Science, Reading, Social Studies, and Math. I am comfortable with online learning platforms and can help your student get back on track or ahead!

My teaching approach is to not only help students succeed on on their current assignments and tests but to help them gain the skills to continue improving on their own. Learning study skills, note taking, and practicing can help a student become successful when teachers, parents, and tutors are no longer available.

I have lived in many different parts of the United States, travel around the country, and have a love for where we live! I have training in teaching gifted and talented students, english language learners, and students with learning disabilities.

Knowledgeable, patient, and kind tutor

Lindsey has been great in helping to prepare for the AP Human Geography exam. She is kind, patient, very positive and encouraging. She is knowledgeable on the subject matter and has also given great test taking tips. She designed and shared a thorough study plan and adjusted it to add things that we wanted covered. Highly recommend!
