Hi, I'm Dave. I have taught English to students from all over the world, including Germany, France, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Korea and China. I've also taught at Kuwait University in the Middle East.

My main emphasis is on writing, particularly for students preparing to take the TOEFL or IELTS tests. I can help you to zero in on effective strategies for raising your band. I can also help you with speaking.

I enjoy helping students to increase their self-confidence in their language skills. Learning a new language can be lots of fun, but you have to approach it with the right attitude.

I have lots of experience learning languages, so I know what it's like for students confronting new grammar principles for the first time.

If you're struggling with recognizing the difference between direct and indirect objects or which case a preposition takes, I can offer tips to help you to master this knowledge.

Verb conjugations and irregular plurals don't have to get you down. There are simple, logical ways to make sense to the patterns inherent in these structures, and I can help you to zero in on them.

Language learning is more interesting and more fun when a student can focus on subjects which genuinely interest him or her. If you are a football fan, we can talk about football. If music or movies are more your thing, we can talk about that.

Of course, we can't forget that the end goal is a good general knowledge of English, so some time has to be spent on topics that may be of less interest. The best way to get through that is humor and a good attitude. I can help you with both.

I have over ten years' experience teaching English. In that time, I've developed tools and strategies to help you learn what you need to know and to make it enjoyable for you along the way.

I'd love to talk to you about how I can help you to improve your language skills whatever your goals might be. If you need to pass a college entrance exam, I can provide you with practice materials and then check your work afterward
