I was able to mold my passions for teaching and travel together by teaching ESL/ ELL abroad. These adventures not only allowed me to share my native language with those who want to learn it, but gave me the opportunity to learn about their cultures and languages as well. I mention this because it is deeply a part of who I am, and I believe it formed a crucial aspect to my teaching style. I am open, caring, empathetic, yet stern. I posses great patience and understanding, yet I gently push learners outside their comfort zones just enough to really excel. I consider learning a holistic experience that should be fun and exploratory!

I moved to Spain in 2012 and completed a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) Certificate, little did I know that would propel me on a journey of teaching English and Reading all over the world and finally back in my own country! Learning another language is not easy, but it can be fun! I am a great English tutor because I am patient, caring, and supportive.
