Experienced Spanish Tutor for Adults, Teens & Homeschoolers

Kate E.

Tired of losing motivation? Been studying Spanish for months but still don’t speak it? Give me 6 months to a year and I’ll TEACH YOU SPANISH. With consistent practice, I’ve brought multiple students from low/intermediate to C1 (advanced, professional-level) proficiency in less than a year.

I’m a non-native speaker. I started with nothing and became fluent on my own through music, conversation partners, and travel to 30+ countries. I’ve learned 3 other languages too, so I know how it goes!

After I became fluent, I earned my B.A. in Spanish Literature and Linguistics from Arizona State University (summa cum laude) while also on the pre-med track. So you get both: the shortcuts from a former student who learned from scratch, and the deeper knowledge of someone who studied the grammar and deeper mechanics of the language in academia.

Every lesson is tailored to YOUR learning style. We work on getting 1% better every lesson, taking small steps so you NEVER lose motivation, because yes, it’s easy to do. After every session, you’ll get a written summary, a recording to rewatch anytime, and practice assignments, plus a progress chart and plenty of podcasts, games, books, and apps.

Struggling high school, college, or homeschool student? I got you. Every week I’ll build a personalized study plan that lines up with your class and review your homework to keep you organized. I’ll make sure you never get left behind, and I’ll teach new concepts in a different way than your teacher does, so you can get ahead. My goal is to get you straight A’s as fast as possible :)

Parents: you’ll get the summary and recording after every session, so you always know exactly what we covered and how your student is doing.

Patient, empathetic, and passionate about my students’ success.
