I’m currently a graduate student in astrophysics with years of tutoring and teaching experience at the university level. I’ve worked as a teaching assistant for upper-division astrophysics courses, but am comfortable with subjects ranging from introductory physics and astronomy to more advanced topics in math and science. My goal as a tutor is to make intimidating subjects feel approachable by breaking them down in ways that match each student’s learning style.

My goal as a tutor is to make intimidating subjects feel approachable by breaking them down in ways that match each student’s learning style.
I always adapt my approach depending on whether a student needs help building foundational understanding, preparing for exams, or pushing themselves to go beyond the basics. I’m especially passionate about making STEM subjects feel less overwhelming, and I’m always patient, encouraging, and nonjudgmental.
Whether we’re tackling Newton’s laws or diving into the cosmos, I bring enthusiasm and clarity to every session. I genuinely care about helping students succeed and build confidence in their abilities. I know how it feels to struggle, and asking for help can be difficult, but I believe everyone is capable of whatever they set their minds to, and science & math are fun!
