As a FCS teacher, I was trained to teach students cooking/nutrition, sewing, interior design, and child care/development. I have taught these subjects for the past 5 years to junior high students in both charter and public schools. During the school shutdown in 2020 due to covid, I was still able to teach students how to cook at home remotely.
I can teach basic beginner sewing skills and intermediate sewing skills. I will take students at whatever level they are at and continue to teach and challenge to improve their skills. I am also available for help with school sewing projects as well!
