I’m passionate about mathematics and the physical sciences, and I love helping others discover the clarity, beauty, and power behind these subjects. I understand that math can feel frustrating or overwhelming, but with the right guidance and a shift in perspective, difficult concepts often become achievable and even enjoyable. I believe a strong foundation is essential for mathematical success, and I work to meet students where they are, identifying and filling in any gaps in understanding.
My teaching experience includes a year as a paraprofessional in a 6th grade classroom, where I provided one-on-one support in math, and another year tutoring college-level math at Utah Tech from basic arithmetic through Calculus II. Aside from math, I have also taught private piano lessons for about seven years. I enjoy helping empower students with science and math and helping them gain confidence, offering not just explanations but also resources and strategies tailored to their individual learning.
