I have successfully taught Introduction to DSLR Photography, Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop in the Continuing Education Program of the Canyons School District for nearly three years. My objective is to challenge the student in each class and help them to evaluate and measure their progress. I show and then help them do the task at hand.

Among my greatest joys is the value I receive in watching students grasp a new concept and be able to not only use it, but to expand their ability to create with it. That creative process builds self-esteem and promotes success no matter what the field. And the icing on the cake is what I learn in the process of working with my students.

As a freelance photographer and a member of the Salt Lake Photographic Print Society for some twelve years, I regularly produce digital photographic artwork that is printed, framed and displayed in galleries. I use Lightroom and Photoshop to do all of my own post-processing and I print my own art pieces.
