I am an experienced tutor with experience both in-person and virtually. I have degrees in Public Health: Health Science and Editing & Publishing. I scored a 36 on the ACT and 1560 on the SAT. Additionally, I am a National Merit Scholar and was nominated as a U.S. Presidential scholar. I've worked over 700 hours as a tutor through various platforms, and I have also worked as a museum educator.

I love learning about a wide variety of subjects, and I enjoy taking difficult or complex subjects and figuring out how to share them in a way that makes the most sense. There is nothing quite as satisfying as the "aha!" moment when something clicks in a student's head. I want to share my love of learning. I have found that as a tutor, I value personalization and patience. I want my students to not only know the material, but have confidence in their own abilities.

I am particularly experienced in English, having worked as a writer and editor. I have experience in many types of writing, including academic, creative writing, speech writing, and journalism. I also am eager to help others excel in standardized testing, as I know it is something many struggle with.
