I have been helping students improve their test scores and math grades for nearly 15 years. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Math Education from BYU. What makes me successful as a tutor is asking questions and really listening to you. I quickly assess your understanding and where you’re stuck. I break down and simplify math concepts. I build confidence by demonstrating examples, working through problems together, and helping you take the lead so you can become a more confident problem solver. I have worked with students of many ages, abilities, and learning styles through both university and private tutoring. I specialize in Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, and Precalculus. I enjoy helping students who feel like math doesn’t make sense or who simply need a better explanation.
