Hi! I’m Michael and I’m a math and writing tutor with additional qualifications on the LSAT, GRE, and ACT. I have tutored hundreds of students at the college level for years and find former students are still grateful for my help-- even years later. I love the chance to interact with students and help them with the knowledge and strategy they need to succeed.

Professional experience: I am a lawyer and scored in the top 5% on both my LSAT (170) and GRE multiple choice sections (combined score of 335). I recently passed the Utah bar and specialize in complex litigation, maintaining excellent skills in legal research.

College experience: I attended BYU Law School, receiving a "Faculty Award for Meritorious Achievements and Distinguished Service" before graduating and passing the Utah Bar. I majored in Math at BYU and had a 3.53 GPA.

High school experience: I received the highest score possible-- a "5" --on my AP Calculus BC and AP U.S. Government tests-- and the second highest score ("4") on my Statistics and U.S. History tests. I got a 33 on the ACT, which is in the 99th percentile. I received the "Every Student Succeeding Award" from Region XV of the Association of California School Administrators.

Tutoring experience: I have 1.5 years of in-person tutoring and another 6 months of online tutoring experience. I've received great reviews from my students over the years. I do have cerebral palsy, so I particularly excel in sessions where the primary method of communication is written, and I am happy to have a free 15 minute trial for voice/video to verify good communication.
