Hello! My name is Reed, and I recently graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Molecular Biology. I am currently in my gap year before beginning medical school. I also scored in the 90th percentile on the MCAT and am fluent in Spanish, which I use regularly as a medical interpreter.
I love teaching! During college, I founded a mentorship program for high school students, where I tutored weekly in biology, chemistry, ACT preparation, and college readiness. I also spent several years as a BYU biology teaching assistant, helping students understand college-level concepts and build confidence in the classroom.
Although I eventually found academic success, I was not always an exceptional student. Through my own experience I understand that every student learns differently. My goal is not only to improve grades, but to help students gain confidence and establish habits that will lead to success throughout life. I believe every student is capable of succeeding with the right guidance and encouragement!
