I enjoy working one-on-one with students because every learner has different goals, strengths, and learning styles. My teaching approach focuses on practical conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, repetition, and communication skills that students can apply in everyday situations. I also emphasize patience and clear explanations while creating a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence.
My educational background currently includes my studies through BYU Flex. I do not currently hold a formal teaching degree or certification, but my two years of living and studying in Colombia provided extensive daily Spanish-language experience as well as practical teaching experience. I worked with young adults as well as learners of different ages and tailored my instruction to their individual needs and goals.

My strongest qualifications are my two years of immersive Spanish experience in Colombia, my experience teaching both Spanish and English, and my ability to communicate comfortably in Spanish and English.
