I am a recent physics graduate from Brigham Young University with physics education licensure and a minor in math. I have over two years of experience as a teaching assistant where I worked with college students one-on-one both in major and non-major physics courses, and have also taught elementary-aged children individually in piano lessons. In addition, I continue to work with high school students as a substitute teacher, and recently completed student teaching.

Math and physics are subjects learned with experience! In lessons, we will look for what practice you need to better understand concepts and how to apply them. I also have experience with physics problem-solving research, and we will work to find a problem-solving approach that consistently helps you to solve new or challenging problems on your own.
Whether you are a high school student taking these classes as a requirement, or a physics major in your first few classes trying to find what works, I would love to work with you! I understand that whatever your background, experience, or interest with math or physics, they can be challenging to understand. In our lessons, we will work through these challenges with patience and confidence that learning is always possible!
I am eager to work with you! Feel free to reach out and we can discuss how to best meet your needs and goals in your learning!
