I’ve always enjoyed helping others understand challenging concepts, and I take pride in watching my students gain confidence as their skills grow.
I have several years of tutoring experience working one-on-one with middle and high school students. Over a five-month period, I tutored an 8th grader in Math and Spanish, helping her raise her grades from a C to an A and achieve acceptance into her dream high school, CVCA, with a top score on the math entrance exam. I also worked with two 10th graders in Math, and through personalized lessons and consistent support, both have improved their grades from D’s to A’s.
My approach centers on patience, clarity, and confidence-building. I tailor each session to match the student’s learning style, breaking complex topics into simple, understandable steps and reinforcing understanding through real-life examples and consistent practice. Whether it’s preparing for exams, mastering algebra, or improving understanding, I strive to make every lesson engaging and rewarding.
