My name is Brandon D. I'm Wyzant's #1 Spanish Tutor based on feedback (satisfied clients), ratings (almost all 5 stars), and hours (well over 12,000). My clients (well over 1,000 students) have had amazing success (earned A's or at least improved their grades) in their Spanish classes at the junior high, high school, and collegiate levels. Spanish is the only subject that I teach. I love helping someone who feels like they can't learn the language to gain confidence in themselves that they can learn it, and then do it. I have improved a lot at helping many with pronunciation, spelling, conjugating, sentence and question structure, conversational skills, reading comprehension, writing, projects, essays, and much more to understanding the Spanish language. I'm 40 years old (21 years teaching and tutoring experience with clients ages 4-78) and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah with Departmental Honors in Spanish. I taught adults at a private college (OWATC) for two years. I took Spanish in junior high and high school. I became fluent while serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mexico for approximately two years by listening to the Mexican people, conversing with them, recording words and phrases, keeping a journal, translating, studying, applying new knowledge immediately and frequently, and sharing religious beliefs. I lived/visited, served, and learned in 13 cities in Mexico.

I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, majoring in Spanish, with Departmental Honors. I have worked with over 1,000 clients on Wyzant, mostly high school and junior high levels. Amazing Tutor

My son is a sophomore in high school and was struggling in Spanish II this last quarter. He was making D's and C's on his quizzes and tests. After several sessions with Brandon, his understanding and his grades improved significantly. He made an B and an A on the next 2 quizzes and on the next test, he made a 101.
