I am an experienced College Counseling professional excited to work with new students.

I am an active member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), serve on the University of Arizona Honors College Counselor Advisory Board, and sit on the Executive Board for the Rocky Mountain Association for College Admission Counseling (RMACAC). I am well versed and connected to national trends, evolving admission practices, and the broader counseling community.

I am a former admissions counselor at Appalachian State and the University of Utah. In my admissions roles, I built strong relationships with students and families, guiding them through each step of the college search and application process. I gained in-depth experience in holistic application review, territory management, and outreach for a large, research-driven institution. Across both roles, I worked with students from a wide range of backgrounds, including first-generation and low-income applicants, and developed a deep commitment to access and inclusion in higher education.

As a College Counseling tutor, I bring both insider admissions knowledge and counseling expertise to my work. I love helping students craft genuine, well-rounded applications. I am happy to work through building your college list, drafting personal statements, activity sections, college essays, and school supplements. My goal is to help you or your student approach the process with less stress and more self-assurance. My goal is to make college planning empowering and organized, while ensuring every student feels seen, supported, and confident in the story they’re telling.

College Counseling

I am an experienced College Counseling professional with a Master’s Degree in School Counseling and a background in University Admissions. I have served as an Admissions Counselor at the University of Utah and Appalachian State University, giving me in-depth knowledge of how colleges evaluate applications. As a NACAC (National Association for College Admission Counseling) member, an advisory board member for the University of Arizona Honors College Counselor Advisory Board, and an RMACAC (Rocky Mountain Association for College Admission Counseling) Executive Board chair, I stay up-to-date on best practices and trends in higher education. I work with students to create authentic applications, make informed college choices, and navigate the admissions process with confidence.
