Hi I’m Laura! We could be creative partners in solving the most fascinating visual problems out there! The way our brain and body interprets colors, images and experiences is incredible! Each of us has our own unique approach to seeing the world and interpreting it. My passion is helping each individual find their own natural way to express themselves through learning visual design. I am eager to share my knowledge of how learning the foundations of art has taught me the fundamental skills of problem solving, which translates to everyday living. Join me on the discovery of seeing the world!

I have a Masters in Art Education and a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing.
I taught as a Grad Assistant for University courses during my studies and even helped build a 3D Department for the University I obtained my graduate degree. I’ve worked with a range of students and clients in many different settings from schools, to private sessions, to community centers, and professional artists. I also have experience working with special needs and mental heath clients. I’ve had the joy of helping build of an art therapy program at a drug and alcohol rehab center. My resume is varied and extensive. I can confidently say, I’ve worked with a wide range of people and love all that I’ve had the pleasure to teach! Students are the greatest teachers.

My approach to teaching is for all ages and types of learners. My course content is available for beginners to experienced. Whether you are looking to learn the basics of learning to draw or you are working on a body of work and need help clarifying your visual voice, I am more than happy to help teach and coach you along your journey. :)
I am available for online sessions, we do not have to meet in person for you to practice and grow your skill set.
