In addition to my professional experience, I have also mentored and coached students and professionals preparing for their business careers. My approach is patient, personalized, and tailored to your unique learning style and goals. I aim to not only help you understand the material but also apply it in real-world scenarios.
As an undergraduate, I earned an AS degree in Sociology (High Honors), a BS degree in Psychology (Became a Member of Psi Chi the International Honors Society in Psychology) and a Certificate of Honors from the Honors College simultaneously. I then studied Chinese and earned an AA Degree in Chinese (High Honors). I then transferred to another school for further post-baccalaureate studies and nearly completed a second bachelor’s degree in Chinese before being accepted into an MBA program for working professionals. As I did this all as a first generation non-traditional student, I have an understanding not only of what it takes to succeed in that context, but as a student generally.
I offer a broad knowledge of social science, linguistics, philosophy, Chinese, and of course business subjects. I have experience teaching English (ESL) and am TESOL Certified. The honors program at Westminster helped me develop my writing skills to a very high level and I’m happy to share some of the writing skills and strategies that I picked up along the way.
