Utah State University - Logan, Utah (Science Teaching)
I am a recent graduate from Utah State University with a degree in secondary education. I am currently a full-time teacher at a local charter school. I have always loved learning about math and science and I hope I can teach you to feel the same way. My greatest joy is when my students understand a new or hard concept- I work hard for those "lightbulb" experiences.
I have a wide breadth of knowledge in all of the math and sciences including biology, geology, chemistry, physics, algebra, trigonometry, and calculus. I have almost three years of experience tutoring almost daily and am hoping to gain more time and experience teaching students just like you. I am looking for students (elementary- college level) who I can teach on a short-term or long-term basis. I cater my teaching needs to fit your schedule and your learning style.
I am excited to help you learn all you can about science and math. Bring your questions to me and I will help you find the answers. Let's get started today! Hello!

Kati knows her stuff! She is willing to answer any question and is very patient. She met on time for every appointment and if I had to reschedule, she was very flexible about it. I would say science and math are her strong points in tutoring. She comes to each lesson with PowerPoints and describes each concept thoroughly. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a tutor!
Katie was very helpful with my 14-year-old son on his advanced geometry. Extremely patient was able to connect with him. If I lived near her we would use her all the time. Definitely worth the money.
Kati is very helpful, flexible, knowledgeable, patient, and prepared. Her personality is great too! I have nothing bad to say about Kati, I would highly recommend her!
Kati did a great job of picking up where I was at and helping me understand the mechanics of how to find arc lengths using definite integration. Thanks!
Kati has helped me get through my chemistry classes and also provides great help with my math as well. She is super friendly and knows her stuff! She knows lots of little things that really help you understand complex thoughts.
If you need help, for sure get Kati as a tutor!
Kati is a great tutor. She definitely knows her stuff. I could ask her any calculus question and she knew the material. She was a good teacher and helped things make sense to me. She was always punctual and reliable. I would definitely recommend her.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
