Hello! My name is Hayden H, and I’m a current dental student with a deep passion for human health and science education. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science, with a minor in Chemistry and a certificate in Computer Programming. During my undergraduate studies, I fell in love with the systemic nature of medicine — understanding how the human body functions from the macroscopic to the molecular level. That curiosity led me to spend two years as a Chemistry tutor and laboratory teaching assistant, where I discovered how much I enjoy helping others connect complex scientific ideas in clear, meaningful ways. My love and passion ultimately earned me a 98th percentile score on the DAT.

My approach to tutoring focuses on building true understanding rather than memorization. Too often, students take biology and chemistry as separate worlds when, in reality, each is telling a different chapter of the same story. Helping students see how molecules create life, how chemistry becomes biology, is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching for me.

I start each session by identifying what a student already knows and where the confusion begins. From there, we build a roadmap for progress — breaking down difficult topics into logical steps, using visuals, real-world examples, and guided questions to strengthen critical thinking. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my style to their individual strengths, whether that means walking through mechanisms step-by-step, simplifying biochemical pathways, or connecting anatomy to clinical relevance. My goal is for my students to leave each lesson not just knowing what to study, but why it makes sense. Watching students gain confidence in subjects that once intimidated them is what drives me, and I look forward to helping you reach that same turning point.
