My lifelong passion of Math/Science includes a desire to share my ability/interest with others. My goal is to make Science Technology Engineering Math (STEM) subjects interesting and understandable, so lives of those learning are enhanced. Have a knack for connecting with learners, with ability to identify how a person learns, where they are struggling, and can determine creative ways of working with each unique learner to gain success. In addition to undergraduate/graduate education coursework, my Engineering BS/MS degrees with experience give me insight into how these subjects are used in the real world. In several engineering jobs, I also served as a technical instructor/mentor/coach/presenter. Experienced 28 years as a swim, lifeguard, water aerobics instructor. Tutored hundreds of students, preschool through college level, privately, in classrooms, and at Sylvan. Included Algebra, Advanced Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Physical Science, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering Statics, Engineering Heat Transfer, Math/Science Test Prep, Elementary/Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, and Study Skills equipping learners for successful course completion, graduation, and life.
