A native french teacher

Julien F.

I am a native French speaker, born and raised in France, where I completed my entire education through a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Industrial Computing from Montpellier. This background, combined with the years I spent living and working in France, gave me a complete command of the language — its grammar, spelling, and nuances — both spoken and written. Throughout my career and international assignments, I also had many opportunities to explain and convey complex technical information to people from different languages and cultures, which trained me to adapt my level of speech and teaching approach to the person in front of me.

For more than eighteen years, I held management and supervisory roles in industry in France, where I led and trained teams of up to thirty people. Training, explaining, correcting, and supporting my team members' progress was a core part of my daily responsibilities, whether through formal training sessions or one-on-one coaching in the field. In addition, I served as a scout leader for nine years, an experience during which I supervised children and teenagers, leading educational activities and guiding them individually in their learning and personal development.

Since moving to the United States, I would like to put this combined linguistic and teaching experience to use for English-speaking students who want to learn or improve their French, regardless of age or level, adapting to their goals — whether conversational, school-related, travel-focused, or professional development.
