I won Sterling Scholar in the art category as a senior, and have had my work featured twice in the Springville museum of art. My featured artwork won Juror’s choice award while at that museum my second year. I look forward to helping young students budding in their artistic passions hone and deepen their skills to be able to express themselves, and share their concepts with the world.
Not only have I developed my skills enough to be awarded for their aesthetics, but I have learned to share my thoughts and visions through the art pieces and artist statements. I understand how to depict as well as word my statements in such a way that is highly received by most crowds. Conveying your message accurately is an important role of an artist, and one that needs to be learned and practiced. I will help aspiring artists develop that skill in particular.
My focus is on young artists because that is the most pivotal time in a artists career; that is where their skills begin to take off, where they begin to understand who they are and what they have to offer the world, where they begin to realize what direction they want their life to go. I will help to nurture and give rise to who you are and want to be.
