Karina: A teacher for a little bit of everything

I have a really strong love and passion for school work. I have always been very dedicated to my schoolwork, and understand what hard work is necessary for success. I have a really hard time paying attention in school and understand what it feels like to just not get it. I have found some ways that help me to understand and learn in my own way.

I have a little sister who has Down syndrome. She is now 16, and my best friend. She struggles a lot when it comes to school work, but I know that she has the capacity to accomplish anything, if I just believe in her and don't give up. Handicapped people are the most extraordinary people on the this planet, and I don't think most people understand how truly incredible they are. They have such a capacity for loving others and extending that outwards even if they can't express it with words.

I love working with kids and helping them in any way I can. I am currently going to school to become a high school drama and English teacher. I am very outgoing, have a fun productive personality, and know when to play and when to work. I would love the opportunity to help teach your child and in turn help myself grow and learn with your child to some day become the real teacher I would love to be.
