I recently completed my BS/MS degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Utah and have over four years of experience tutoring students at the college level. During this time, I have worked as both a tutor and a Lead Tutor, helping students succeed in a wide range of subjects including mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, and biomedical engineering. I am also a CRLA Level 3 Certified Tutor, which reflects advanced training in tutoring methods, communication, and student-centered learning strategies.

My tutoring experience includes working with students in one-on-one appointments, small groups, and drop-in learning center settings. I have supported students ranging from first-year college students taking introductory math and science courses to upper-division and graduate students in engineering courses. Rather than simply providing answers, I focus on helping students understand the underlying concepts, develop effective problem-solving skills, and build confidence in their own abilities. I adapt my teaching approach to each student's learning style and encourage active participation so that students become more independent learners over time.

One of the things I enjoy most about tutoring is helping students overcome challenges they initially thought were impossible. I understand that every student learns differently, and I strive to create a supportive, encouraging environment where questions are welcomed and mistakes are viewed as opportunities for growth. My combination of advanced STEM education, extensive tutoring experience, leadership responsibilities, and commitment to student success allows me to effectively work with students from middle school through college. Whether a student needs help mastering course content, preparing for exams, improving study habits, or building academic confidence, I am dedicated to helping them reach their goals.
