Hi my name is Hailey and I am excited to start this learning journey with you and your student!

I have been teaching in the classroom for 2 years and have been working in education as a small group teacher for 3 years prior. I have experience teaching Pre-K, 4th, and 5th grade as a general education teacher. I also have experience teaching small group interventions to K-5th graders. I have been tutoring for over a year online as well as in person. I am personally inspired with how much progress students can make with one on one attention and help.

My passion for teaching began with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, and I have since obtained an Utah and Oregon Elementary Teaching License. I have attended a multitude of trainings and have experience teaching students with a diverse set of needs including behavioral, autism, ADHD, ADD, and TAG. I am from the state of Oregon and recently relocated to Utah! I believe in creating a positive and personalized learning environment for each learner to ensure their success and enjoyment in their educational journey.

In addition to teaching, I enjoy spending time outdoors and hiking with friends and families. This interest also influences my teaching style as I believe in using positive and engaging techniques in the classroom that align with each learner's interests. I am committed to building a strong relationship with each family to ensure open and productive communication between the learner, family, and myself.
