Hi! I am Mina. I am a Korean professor at a college in United States. I am so happy to teach Korean language to anyone who are interested in learning in Korean and Korean culture. I studied "Korean and Korean literature" (Bachelor's) and "Speech and Language Pathology" (Master's) in Seoul, Korea. I have been teaching Korean over 20 years in Korea and America with my knowledge and experience in Korean language, language development and evidence-based teaching methods. I had worked as a speech and language therapist in Seoul, Korea and interacted with many special need children to unfold their potential with well planned teaching skills. I have taught Korean for many(over 200 students) and various students (of different age from preschoolers to college) until now. I always put my passion in my Korean teaching. I host a couple of Korean class events for my students and their family like "Korean Award night" and "Performance in Korean Night". I also served and managed a Korean School that is supported by Korean government for 2 years as a director (principal). I have experience to work with preschooler and worked as a lead preschool teacher two years. I believe that language learning has to be fun and engaging. Nevertheless, I don't just do lessons for fun, but always prepare my lessons with teaching plan and make learning resources for each one of my student. Whatever need you have, I will help you at your side and would love to be supportive to you in learning Korean with my passion, patience, love, experience and teaching skills. Like I mentioned at the intro of this writing, I teach Korean courses for different levels at a college now. I love to interact with my students and make curriculum with great teaching methods. Also, on next year March, I'll be finishing the training course to get "Certificate of Korean Teacher" that Korean government gives to qualified and trained person. If you choose me, you'll find a trustworthy and professional Korean teacher who will do best for you! Thanks! Kamsahamnida!

Hi! I am Mina. I was born in Seoul, Korea and am a Korean native speaker. I studied "Korean and Korean literature" (Bachelor's) and "Speech and Language Pathology" (Master's) at Ewha Womens University, Seoul, Korean. I have taught Korean over 20 years in Korea and America in my life. I worked in a Korean Speech Clinic to help special need children to speak Korean well during 1997 - 2000. I loved to work there to facilitate their language with proved therapy skills. In 2001 Our family moved to America. I began to teach Korean at my house since 2004. I met many Korean American students who spoke English but struggled to speak Korean. Also I taught American students who wanted to learn Korean computer software skills in Korea later or who wanted to learn Korean culture and language because they loved K-drama or K-pop so much. I taught many various students (+70) of different age from preschoolers to college students. I host a couple of Korean class events for my students and their family like "Korean Award night" and "Performance in Korean Night". I also got a privilege to serve and managed a Korean School that is supported by Korean government at Waco Korean Baptist Church for 2 years as a director (principal). Also, I had worked as a lead preschool teacher in America for two years (2017-2019). It even strengthened my teaching skills in English as I managed successfully my 2-3 years old classes as I planned and prepared a lot of lesson and taught them with age appropriate teaching method in English. Now, I am a licensed Speech and Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) who is working in Thrive Skilled Pediatric in America. This position is to help special need children to communicate well in English according to their language developmental stage after deep language evaluation. I am confident to teach Korean with my passion, patience, experience and teaching skills like above. If you choose me, you'll find a trustworthy and professional Korean teacher who will do best for you! (Thanks)!

Amazing Korean Tutor

Mina has been working with my daughter on her Korean language skills for about 2 months now. My daughter is progressing quite nicely and able to say and understand many words and phrases. More importantly, my daughter loves attending her Korean lessons each week and asks to practice to impress her Korean teacher. We are so thankful we found Ms. Mina!
