Hi! I'm Jackie and I graduated from Tulane University with a B.S.E. in Engineering Physics. Through my time in university I developed a strong analytical foundation and earned A’s in all of my college mathematics courses. My academic background allows me to confidently tutor a wide range of math subjects, from foundational arithmetic through calculus II. I focus on helping students not just get the right answer, but truly understand the concepts behind the material so they can apply their skills independently and with confidence.
I have about two years of experience tutoring a variety of high school math courses and have worked with students ranging from age 8 to 21 in both one-on-one and classroom settings. My tutoring style is patient, flexible, and student-centered. Every student learns differently, so I’m always willing to try multiple approaches until we find the one that makes the material click. I also have exereince working with students who have ADHD or similar learning disabilities. I can help students review homework, class notes, and test preparation, or provide additional practice problems tailored to their current coursework to strengthen understanding and build long-term problem-solving skills.
