I have a strong educational background and professional experience that qualify me to tutor students in mathematics. I am a Texas Education Agency (TEA)–certified teacher in Mathematics and Computer Science for grades 7–12, with formal training in curriculum alignment, lesson planning, assessment, and differentiated instruction. I have taught math-related subjects in a structured secondary school classroom and have experience adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs. My participation in the U.S. J-1 Exchange Visitor Program further strengthened my instructional skills and exposed me to effective, student-centered and data-informed teaching practices.

I have several years of teaching experience working with middle school and high school students in regular secondary school settings. I have taught students with varying ability levels, including those who need support in building foundational math skills and confidence. My instructional approach focuses on clear, step-by-step explanations, guided practice, and the use of real-world examples to help students understand and apply mathematical concepts. I also use formative assessments and interactive strategies to monitor progress and keep students actively engaged.

In addition to classroom teaching, I have experience providing individualized support through small-group and one-on-one instruction. Many of my students come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, which has strengthened my ability to teach with patience, encouragement, and flexibility. Overall, my TEA certification, combined with my international and U.S. teaching experience, allows me to effectively tutor students in mathematics and help them develop strong problem-solving skills, academic confidence, and long-term success.
