I work as an analytical chemist in toxicology and I’m also currently on my way towards a Doctorate in clinical laboratory science. Chemistry is my field, but analytical chemistry and laboratory science are my specialty. I have both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in chemistry which really solidified those courses with a steep learning curve: Organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and biochemistry. Before I started my career, I worked as both a grader and tutor throughout my undergrad and master’s program. I was also a teaching assistant that would guide students through various labs (Ochem, Pchem, and GenChem).
