Struggling with complex healthcare prerequisites, memorizing endless anatomy systems, or staring down a high-stakes entrance exam can feel completely overwhelming. My goal as a tutor is to take that immense pressure off your shoulders and break down heavy medical concepts into simple, logical, and highly memorable pieces. As a graduate of Alvin College and an incoming nursing student at UT Health Houston, I have spent years mastering the exact academic pathways you are navigating right now. I hold a certified EMT-Basic credential and have successfully conquered both the NREMT registry exam and the TEAS test. Because I have fresh, firsthand experience overcoming these exact bottlenecks, I know precisely how the questions are engineered and what it takes to achieve a competitive score to secure your spot in your dream program.

Over the past couple of years, my teaching experience has grown through structured, one-on-one peer mentoring and volunteer tutoring with fellow college students and adults entering the allied health fields. Working individually with students allows me to adapt entirely to your specific learning style, whether you are a visual learner who needs diagrams to understand cardiac blood flow, or someone who needs conceptual analogies to memorize muscle groups. My tutoring approach moves away from dry, robotic memorization and instead focuses on building deep, fundamental understanding. I use highly interactive methods, such as active recall, customized practice scenarios, and test-taking strategies that teach you how to confidently eliminate wrong answers on adaptive exams like the NREMT and the TEAS.

Whether you are a college student struggling to keep up with the intense pace of Anatomy & Physiology, a high schooler trying to lay a solid foundation in Biology, or an aspiring healthcare professional stressed about an upcoming entrance board, I am here to help you cross the finish line.

EMT/ NREMT

EMT/ NREMT

I am a Certified EMT and a nursing student at UTHealth Cizik School of Nursing with a strong foundation in Anatomy and Physiology. I have completed college-level anatomy coursework and regularly apply this knowledge in patient care settings through my EMS training and experience. My goal is to help students understand concepts rather than memorize them by breaking down complex topics into simple, real-world examples. I enjoy creating a supportive learning environment that builds confidence and helps students succeed academically.
TEAS

TEAS

I am a Certified EMT and a student at UTHealth Cizik School of Nursing with firsthand experience preparing for nursing school admissions and TEAS-style content. I can help students build confidence in the core subjects tested on the TEAS, including anatomy and physiology, biology, mathematics, reading, and English language usage. My approach focuses on breaking down difficult concepts into manageable steps and teaching effective test-taking strategies. I strive to create a supportive environment that helps students strengthen their understanding and feel more prepared on exam day.
