My name is Kat! My nursing career spans more than 20 years, beginning as a nurse aide/tech before transitioning to the bedside as an RN. I have worked in diverse critical care environments, starting in CVICU and later at a teaching hospital in a mixed ICU caring for surgical, medical, trauma, and cardiovascular patients. I now serve as a Trauma Coordinator at a Level I Trauma Center, where I coordinate care for trauma patients while continuing to mentor new nurses.

Knowledgeable and Helpful
Kat is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and was well-prepared for my session. We did practice questions and she explained concepts clearly and made sure I truly understood the material, not just memorized it. She also taught me effective test-taking strategies and broke down terms in a way that helped me connect the dots so that everything made sense. I genuinely feel more confident because of her guidance and I’m grateful for the support she provided. Highly recommend!

She provides clear, structured strategies for test-taking
Kat is an outstanding nursing tutor! She is incredibly knowledgeable and explains even the most complex topics in a way that’s clear and easy to understand. What I appreciate most is how she helps me think critically rather than just memorize guiding me step-by-step through clinical reasoning and nursing judgment. Kat takes the time to make sure I truly grasp the “why” behind each concept and connects everything back to patient care and safety. Her in-depth explanations, patience, and encouragement have made a huge difference in my confidence and success as a nursing student. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to strengthen their nursing knowledge and critical thinking skills!
