Hello, my name is Tom and I am a master graduate from Asbury Seminary and have a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministries from Indiana Wesleyan University. I am enrolled with Texas Teachers. My teaching experiences comes from: Substituting for elementary/junior high school/educator to life skills students; teaching ESL to Chinese students online; edited/proofread papers for students from overseas; taught God’s Word to youth, adults, and children in church; tutoring others Biblical Hebrew for 9+ years from Torah, Prophets, writings, and the Brit Hadashah (New Covenant). I can help with various words and express the meaning of English words, as well as words that have Latin and Greek based words due to studying Latin in high school and Greek in college & Seminary.
I really enjoy when students grasp and understand what is being taught. Taking education seriously at a young age is very important. I will strive to help each student understand their study until they perceive it from their own understanding. For each class, my core objectives are: 1. What is the class that the student is having trouble; 2) Find out what the student is struggling with; and 3) consider an attainable plan agreeable to both parents and student. I am willing to do a free consolation to set up plan of action online/phone.
