I have been tutoring mathematics for over three years across multiple settings — private online sessions, university-level supplemental instruction, and international platforms. At Baylor University, I serve as a Supplemental Instruction Leader for undergraduate math courses, where I design structured review sessions, create targeted practice materials, and help students work through challenging concepts in algebra, calculus, and applied mathematics. Before that, I spent over two years tutoring students through Spires in Germany, which gave me experience adapting my teaching style to diverse learners across different educational systems.
My approach is built around clarity and structure. I break down complex problems into manageable steps, identify where a student is getting stuck, and build up their confidence alongside their skills. I don't just help students get the right answer — I make sure they understand the reasoning behind it, so they can work independently over time.
Beyond mathematics, I offer tutoring in Russian and German. Russian is my native language, and I am fluent in German with a minor in the subject at Baylor University. I am also part of the SPARK German Teaching Program, through which I actively support German language learners. This makes me especially effective for students who need math instruction in a bilingual context, are studying in German-speaking academic environments, or are heritage speakers looking to strengthen their language skills.
I am currently a junior at Baylor University studying Management Information Systems and Data Science, which means I bring a strong analytical foundation to everything I teach. I work online exclusively and am comfortable with students of all ages and levels.

Approved Subjects

Algebra 2

Algebra 2

I have tutored Algebra 2 students across multiple settings, including private online sessions and university-level supplemental instruction at Baylor University. I am well-versed in all core Algebra 2 topics including polynomial functions, trigonometry, graphing transformations, systems of equations, and logarithms. My approach focuses on building genuine conceptual understanding alongside procedural skills, so students not only complete their homework successfully but also perform confidently on major assessments.
Calculus

Calculus

I have tutored calculus students across multiple settings, including private online sessions and as a Supplemental Instruction Leader at Baylor University, where I support undergraduate students in math courses covering calculus and applied mathematics. My academic background in Data Science and Management Information Systems at Baylor University requires a strong foundation in calculus, which I apply both in my studies and in my teaching. I am well-versed in key Calculus 1 and Calculus 2 topics including limits, derivatives, integrals, techniques of integration, sequences and series, and convergence tests. My approach focuses on building genuine conceptual understanding alongside problem-solving skills so students can tackle any question confidently on their own.
German

German

I lived in Germany for three years, during which I studied at a German university for two semesters and worked as a math tutor through the Spires platform all conducted in German. This real-life immersion gave me a deep, practical understanding of the language that goes far beyond textbook knowledge. I also hold a formal minor in German at Baylor University and am an active member of the SPARK German Teaching Program. My lessons are tailored to your goals, whether you need help with grammar, conversation, exam preparation, or everyday communication and are always built around your pace and learning style.
