I have been tutoring mathematics for over three years across multiple settings — private online sessions, university-level supplemental instruction, and international platforms. At Baylor University, I serve as a Supplemental Instruction Leader for undergraduate math courses, where I design structured review sessions, create targeted practice materials, and help students work through challenging concepts in algebra, calculus, and applied mathematics. Before that, I spent over two years tutoring students through Spires in Germany, which gave me experience adapting my teaching style to diverse learners across different educational systems.
My approach is built around clarity and structure. I break down complex problems into manageable steps, identify where a student is getting stuck, and build up their confidence alongside their skills. I don't just help students get the right answer — I make sure they understand the reasoning behind it, so they can work independently over time.
Beyond mathematics, I offer tutoring in Russian and German. Russian is my native language, and I am fluent in German with a minor in the subject at Baylor University. I am also part of the SPARK German Teaching Program, through which I actively support German language learners. This makes me especially effective for students who need math instruction in a bilingual context, are studying in German-speaking academic environments, or are heritage speakers looking to strengthen their language skills.
I am currently a junior at Baylor University studying Management Information Systems and Data Science, which means I bring a strong analytical foundation to everything I teach. I work online exclusively and am comfortable with students of all ages and levels.
