Hi! I am a statistician finishing my PhD in the coming months. I have a master's degree in Statistics from Baylor University, and I got my bachelor's in physics and mathematics. I have been tutoring for over a decade, starting with elementary aged students during my high school years and continuing to do so throughout my educational journey.
I have tutored physics, all kinds of math and statistics, macro and micro economics, and some introductory computer science courses. I have served as a both a teaching and research assistant for predominantly statistics courses and have, as a result, spent a lot of time in the classroom. This has truly helped me understand how necessary it is to communicate clearly.
My tutoring experiences have both been in a classroom setting and one-on-one. I prefer teaching to small groups because it helps me better gauge understanding and what learning style may work best.
